alpine magic - from family-friendly to t sparkling evening events. Here’s what on
the holiday calendar this year:
Step into the magic of the holidays at the Vail Kris Kringle Market, December 11–14, 2025. Inspired by the charm of traditional European Christmas markets, this festive open-air event fills Vail Village with twinkling lights, fragrant garlands, and the joyful sounds of the season.
On Sunday, Dec. 14, grab your ugliest holiday sweater and join the Vail Recreation District for a fun-filled morning run through Vail Village while collecting donations for the The Community Market and a local toy drive.
Experience the magic of The Nutcracker Ballet! Vail Friends of Dance presents dancers from the Vail Youth Ballet Company and Vail Valley Academy of Dance in an incredible performance of this classic holiday production.
As part of Vail Après, embrace this cherished tradition of meeting with the jolly man himself. Families and children will have the chance to enjoy the spirit of Christmas for the holiday festivities! Free photos will be available and can be shared with you digitally or printed onsite.
As part of Vail Après, enjoy a free, 15 minute outdoor exhibition of Elite Skating. The show is high energy ice entertainment with great popular and holiday themed music. Featuring World, International, Team USA Skaters, and Seasoned Professionals. There are two performances on each night.

Each year Vail celebrates the New Year with an annual torchlight parade and fireworks. Skiers form a glowing train and ski down Golden Peak. The parade is followed by a Fireworks show that can be seen from all across the valley.
Ring in 2025 at the Beaver Creek New Year's Eve Celebration with performers and live music throughout the Village, giant screens to watch the ball drop at 10PM local time, and fireworks illuminating the sky over Beaver Creek.
