On the main level, a towering cathedral ceiling caps the expansive great room where guests can gather in front of the stone gas fireplace or relax on the oversize sectional for a movie night. Our step outside onto the front deck and settle in around the firepit to take in the fresh alpine air along with the incredible scenery.
The fully equipped kitchen features a central island with counter seating four. Adjacent to the kitchen is a dining table that comfortably seats eight guests.
Privacy prevails in the back patio off the main living space. After a day of exploring the outdoors, soak in the large hot tub, or use the grill and enjoy al fresco meals at the outdoor dining table in warmer months.
The four bedrooms are spacious and cozy with an authentic mountain character. The main-level primary suite is a perfect retreat with a king bed, TV, and an ensuite bathroom with two vanities, a tub, and a separate shower. The true wow factor of this room is waking up to the amazing views and then stepping out on to the deck to enjoy the sunrise.
The home’s upper level is the space the kids in the group will take over. A versatile bunk room features a twin-over-twin bunk alongside an additional queen bed. There is a hallway bathroom with a single vanity and shower. Overlooking the great room below, the open loft serves as a dedicated game lounge, equipped with a foosball table, comfortable seating and a table for playing cards and board games.
Two more bedrooms make up the lower level. The first features a queen bed, TV, and a desk. The second bedroom also has a queen bed and a TV. These two bedrooms share a bathroom with a single vanity and shower.
The garage entrance to the home is on this lower level. There’s space for two vehicles in the garage and two more in the driveway. Note: the access road and driveway to the residence is dirt. A 4WD vehicle is required in winter. But, don’t worry we have a seasonal shuttle to take you where you need to go.
Other amenities include boot dryers in the garage, a full laundry room, and Sonos sound system.

All Moving Mountains properties have WIFI and come fully stocked with paper products (paper towels, toilet paper, tissues), bathroom toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap), and detergents (dish, dishwasher, and laundry) as well as clean bed linens and towels. In addition, the kitchens are stocked with aluminum foil, plastic wrap, trash bags, sponges, soap, salt and pepper, coffee, tea, Nespresso, cookware, bakeware, dishes, glasses, utensils, and standard small appliances.
This home does not have air conditioning. Colorado's cool summer nights will keep this home comfortable by opening windows after the sun goes down and then closing the windows and blinds during the day. Utilizing the overhead fans, if available, keeps airflow moving, and additional floor fans can be found in many bedroom closets. Can't live without it? A/C units may be available for rent for an additional fee.
