Margherita to Meat Lovers: Our Favorite Steamboat Pizza

In a mountain town, few things hit the spot quite like a good pizza, especially after a long travel day or an epic one spent skiing, hiking, biking, or just soaking up the alpine air. It's the ultimate comfort food and perfect for either a night in or casual dinner out. We asked our team to dish on their favorite local pizza joints—whether it’s for dining in, grabbing takeout, or having it delivered. From traditional classics to seasonal creations, here are the pies we crave the most!

"Clyde’s Pies is amazing! Love their seasonal peach pizza."
Deb Trevor, Kitchen Inventory/Front Desk Specialist

Clyde’s Pies is a family owned wood fired pizzeria in downtown Steamboat Springs, serving authentic old style Pizza Napoletana. Open daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., it is a great spot to enjoy a fresh pizza in the heart of Steamboat.

"My favorite pizza in Steamboat is Mambo. The specialty pizzas have unique combinations, like the Principessa with Prosciutto, goat cheese, catenaries onion, arugula, and truffle. Pro tip, 4:00 to 5:30 for half off happy hour wood fired pizzas on the patio after a long hike to avoid the dinner rush and have leftovers!"
Jill Stouten Operations Coordinator / Front Desk Supervisor

Mambo brings Italian flavors to downtown Steamboat Springs with a menu of specialty pizzas, fresh pasta, and classic Italian dishes.

"In Steamboat, Blue Sage and the Full Boat or Jalapeno Popper"
Erik Skinner,

"My vote for Pizza in SBT is Blue Sage, for dine in and carry out."
Lisa Riniker, Director of Operations

Serving Steamboat since 1992, Blue Sage Pizza is a local spot for hand tossed, thin crust, and deep dish pizzas. Guests can dine in, grab pizza by the slice, order to go, or choose delivery.

"Brooklynn's in Steamboat. Go for The Max!"
Diana Crowley, Guest Services Manager

"Great for late night slices with free delivery after 5pm. The Max is a great option to feed the entire family!.

"Brick is my secret spot! Tucked away from downtown, their wood fired pizzas and pasta are topnotch. The Bianco pizza is my go to"
