July 4th in Steamboat Springs

July 4th Parade | Moving Mountains At Moving Mountains, we get all fired up about the 4th of July, and we’re not just talking about what we’ll be grilling on our #BBQcam. Sadly we won't be seeing any fireworks due to the risk of wildfires, but we have plenty of other things on offer to make for a super special July 4th celebration this weekend.

We will be excited to enjoy live in-person rodeo, a ski jumping competition (yes in summer!) and of course the best giant-sized small town July 4th parade!

The parade!

It’s always a 4th of July favorite, and our community loves to have everyone and their dog (literally!) parading down Lincoln Avenue dressed in their best red, white, and blue from 10:00 am - 11:00 am.

After the parade, head over to Howelsen Hill for the Jumpin and Jammin Ski Jump Competition at 11:00 am.

Not this year - we have plenty of other ways that we are going to celebrate though!

Please remember that we have Stage 2 Fire Restrictions in place and fireworks are strictly banned. Smoking outside is also not allowed.
