This challenging links-style course was created out of ranchland and rock piles, where native grasses and wetlands are as much a part of the course as the greens. And the Keith Foster design is also home to elk, eagles, and blue herons. Haymaker was also the first golf course in Colorado to achieve Audubon International Signature certification for its environmental stewardship.

Renowned golf course architect Robert Trent Jones, Jr. set out to create the famously narrow and challenging fairways nestled in the canyon leading up to the Beaver Creek resort. And much like the runs at the ski area, each tee box's designated difficulty is categorized from green (easiest) to double black (most difficult). The double black diamond championship tees play slightly over 6,600 yards, a true test for even the most accomplished golfers.
