Countdown to Colorado's Mountain Resorts Opening for Winter 2021/22

Here we gooooo! The snow is already falling!

The air is crisp, snow is beginning to fall. In the Rockies, we are gearing up for an incredible ski season ahead! We know we're getting ahead of ourselves, but we're over the moon that we're seeing the beginning of snow season this week. 

If this early snow is any indication of the ski season ahead, we're here for it!

The countdown to our mountain ski resorts opening is whittling down:

• 33 Days - Breckenridge Resort and Vail Resort
• 41 Days - Steamboat Resort
• 45 Days - Beaver Creek Resort

Some things to consider this year...

Vail Resorts: Vail, Beaver Creek, & Breckenridge

Masks: Masks are required in all indoor areas. This includes restaurants on the mountain and the resort. Masks are NOT required outdoors in lines or on chairlifts. (As of 10/8/21) 

Reservations: Reservations are NOT required as they were last year. It is always best to plan ahead, but season lift ticket holders no longer require pre-scheduling.

Steamboat Resort

Masks: Masks are suggested in all indoor areas, regardless of vaccination status. Masks are NOT required outdoors in lines or on chair lifts. (As of 10/8/21)

Reservations: Same as last season, Steamboat Resort will not require reservations for pass holders.
