This 750-seat performance venue is on the banks of the Blue River in downtown. It hosts the summer repertoires of the Breckenridge Music Festival Orchestra and National Repertory Orchestra, in addition to visiting bands, musicians, and multimedia events. The venues glass doors can open onto an expansive green lawn for summer events. So bring a blanket, pack a picnic dinner and sit on the grass outside.


Breckenridge has a sophisticated art scene that truly shines during the Second Friday gallery walks. Many of the galleries along Main Street stay open late, offering artist receptions with refreshments and a chance to chat with the creators. It’s a wonderful way to stroll through town and see the latest interpretations of Colorado’s landscapes.

As of August, 2025, The Town of Breckenridge, Colorado, has been officially designated as a Certified Dark Sky Community by DarkSky International, the first mountain resort community in Colorado to achieve this designation. This means the stargazing in Breckenridge is exceptional to the low light pollution and high altitude. Top spots include Hoosier Pass, offering 360-degree views away from town lights.
