Here's our guide to enjoying live music this summer in Breckenridge:
During the eight-week Summer Music Festival season, the NRO performs as many as 21 orchestral concerts and over 32 free, community, family friendly concerts. The 2026 Summer Music Festival will run from June 20-August 8, 2026. This season's concerts will be a vibrant journey through the landscapes, stories, and spirit that define the United States in honor of the nation’s 250th anniversary and Colorado’s 150th. Most of the orchestra's concerts are held at the Riverwalk Center on the banks of the Blue River in downtown Breckenridge.
Surrounded by the stunning peaks of the Ten Mile and Gore Ranges and overlooking Lake Dillon, is the Dillon Amphitheater, an open-air venue that offers a diverse range of concerts throughout the entire summer. The 2026 season includes the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Black Uhuru, The Crane Wives, and Trampled by Turtles & Leftover Salmon. In addition to the ticketed shows, enjoy Mountain Music Mondays every week. The free concert series features Grammy-winning singer-songwriters, classical orchestras, folk rock, jam bands and world music.
