With plenty of snowfalls in November, Steamboat is experiencing its best opening since 2014, with a record amount of terrain available early season. With 29 trails and 6 lifts open, including Storm Peak, Steamboat is officially open top to bottom with a 23-inch snow base and a season total of over 67 inches. Single digit temps in late November allowed snow makers to add to the snow base, providing early season guests with some beautiful blue bird ski days during the Thanksgiving weekend.

Colorado is bracing itself for significant snow totals this weekend. The storm is hitting the Front Range and western mountains of Colorado. Some areas may get up to 5 feet of snow! The models are running anywhere from 10 to 60 inches - that is not a typo! As forecasts vary wildly, we are keeping our eyes on this storm.
