Located in the Vail Village, Sweet Basil has been a staple since 1977. With seasonal American cuisine, signature dishes include lobster risotto and Iberian Duroc pork, and their famous sticky toffee pudding cake. Founded in December 2012. the creators of Sweet Basil opened Mountain Standard as a rustic and relaxed tavern in the Vail Valley with the majority of the menu prepared over an open and live wood fire. Mirabelle is a distinctive French restaurant located in the Vail Valley and is believed to be the first home site in Beaver Creek. "Yes, Eagle County's only independent bookstore is my favorite restaurant.The Bookworm of Edwards offers fantastic salads, house-made soups, sandwiches, avocado toasts, sweet or savory crepes, and smoothies. All ingredients are sourced locally when possible. The Skinny B smoothie is my go-to order on a hot summer day. Ask them to substitute coconut water for the apple juice to make it less sweet. My favorite meal is The Classic, a grilled cheese crepe and tomato soup. Perfect for all seasons!"
