Decorated in mountain country style, this 3,580 square foot home radiates comfort and coziness with plenty of room for the whole family on three levels. Shoppers will love this in-town location with a five-minute walk to Breckenridge’s Main Street shops and restaurants or a three-minute easy walk to the free town shuttle.

The great room, with its exposed logs and cathedral floor-to-ceiling windows, enjoys spectacular views of the Breckenridge ski area mountains and beyond. Relax in comfort on leather couches in front of the large rock fireplace and entertain in style in this stunning open concept main level. Chefs will have fun in the gourmet kitchen with Viking and Sub-Zero appliances, a gas cooktop, and a large center island with seating.

A dining table seats eight nearby for easy meals and conversation while enjoying the views and company. Enjoy al fresco dining in summer on the sunny southwest-facing large deck with views of the ski mountains and town, seating, grilling area, and hot tub for relaxing after a long day.

A cozy den off the great room features a queen sleeper sofa and a great place to get some remote work done or to curl up with a good book.

The master king ensuite is on the main level is just steps away from the hot tub and features a fireplace, TV, and a beautiful ensuite with a soaking tub and steam shower. On the upper level, guests will enjoy two more king ensuite rooms with phenomenal views and a family suite with one queen and one twin bed with an ensuite bath. A King ensuite room is on the lower level, a spacious room with a sitting area and TV, and a private bath.

Other amenities include a laundry room on the main level, a two-bay garage with parking for four cars total, a mudroom for gear storage, and a humidifier system. Four-wheel drive is required in the winter months.

SHUTTLE
This home enjoys complimentary use of the Moving Mountains shuttle, mid-November through mid-April, using the convenient shuttle app to schedule pickups. The use of the shuttle is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Moving Mountains has a Guest Services Team, offering full-service vacation planning assistance prior to your trip. You will be assigned a dedicated specialist who will guide you through all the activities and services available. You will also have access to our online Guest Portal where you can find extensive details about your reservation, your residence and guest services.

IN HOME AMENITIES
All Moving Mountains properties have WIFI and come fully stocked with paper products (paper towels, toilet paper, tissues), bathroom toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap), and detergents (dish, dishwasher, and laundry) as well as clean bed linens and towels. In addition, the kitchens are stocked with aluminum foil, plastic wrap, trash bags, sponges, soap, salt and pepper, coffee, tea, Nespresso, cookware, bakeware, dishes, glasses, utensils, and standard small appliances.

This home does not have air conditioning. Colorado's cool summer nights will keep this home comfortable by opening windows after the sun goes down, and then closing the windows and blinds during the day. Utilizing the overhead fans, if available, keeps airflow moving, and additional floor fans can be found in many bedroom closets. Can't live without it? A/C units may be available for rent for an additional fee.

Large, comfortable, updated house with gorgeous views of Breckenridge Resort. We had a great time there. A word of caution if you are sensitive to light while sleeping as the window coverings in the house are fairly bright, and some windows in the bedrooms do not have window coverings.

My family and I (6 adults and 1 infant) stayed at Mountain Bear Lodge from June 12 -19, 2021. The home is in a great location for walking to town and very close to Carter Park for tennis, pickleball, sand volleyball, frisbee in the big field and hiking or mountain biking (trailhead at Carter Trail - although there are much better trails with a short drive). Very spacious home with great amenities and a large deck with a fabulous view of the slopes. The only initial challenge was the low flow toilets but that wasn't a big deal once that was figured out and with patience. I highly recommend this home and would definitely stay here again.

This house is amazing... perfect location, beautiful views, high end finishes, beautifully decorated. We came up to Break with our adult children for a safe vacation during covid 19. It was perfect! We did several outdoor activities, hikes, white water rafting. All an easy drive from the house The best part was the easy walk from the house to town for dinners and walks. We loved the huge deck and hot tub. We plan to rent this house again!

We stayed here for a family wedding. We were 5 couples and the home was perfect for us. Each couple had their own bathroom. There are plenty of places to sit and chat. The house was clean and well kept. We had a wonderful time and no issues at all. The management company was very helpful upon check in. We had no reason to call them during our stay. I did email for a late check out time and they responded very quickly.

We loved the house. It was perfect for our family ski vacation!!! Beautiful throughout, great view from the deck and hottub!! Beds were comfy, plenty of fresh towels. We had a great extended family vacation (6 adults and 7 kids ages 2-10). It is a beautiful house with an amazing view. It was well stocked with the basics. It has comfortable furniture, beds, pillows, and plenty of storage. We chose this house as we have friends down the hill on French Street, so we were familiar with the location. The mass amounts of snow blocked us from using the paths between the houses, but we can only blame mother nature. We managed from this location with just a shuttle from Denver--no rental cars. We walked to town/ski school/Quick Silver with the kids in tow. We would definitely come back. Great experience

Myself and 12 other adults had an unforgettable experience, staying at Mountain Bear Lodge. You simply cannot beat the view! The home is spacious, comfortable and well-equipped for couples and families. We enjoyed the large community areas, including: kitchen, living, and outdoor deck as well as the privacy of each ensuite bedroom. The location was super for accessing Main Street shopping, ski rentals, and the slopes. A nearby trail made the walk into town that much closer and the free shuttle also highly convenient from the home. The staff and their partners (grocery delivery and other amenities) were all 5-star too! Truly a dream vacation. We will be back!

Our family of 12 spent Thanksgiving at Mountain Bear Lodge. Great floor plan for everyone to enjoy time together in the kitchen, great room and deck, with each couple able to have their own bedroom. It was clean with a well equipped kitchen, beautifully furnished and an amazing view of the slopes. The location is terrific, just a short walk to town. We've stayed at many of their properties and they're all superb.

We rented this beautiful property with 2 other friend families---6 adults and 4 kids. What a perfect house for our group! We spent almost all of our time soaking in the view off the back deck. That view cannot be topped. We loved being able to enjoy it from the dining room and living room as well. A red fox made daily appearances in the back yard.....he'd romp through at about 5pm each afternoon. He only stayed for a minute at most, but it was magical to see. Since we had a large group, we ate almost all meals in. The kitchen is spacious and has great appliances. I wish we had known specifically what cookware was available as it might have changed our meal planning (done prior to arrival). There is a crockpot. Our group could have used a few more large serving pieces (platters and large bowls), but overall the kitchen is very well stocked with plates and glasses. I think all the hairdryers need to be replaced as well. Again, a better description of what is in the house would be helpful. We brought bar soap, toilet paper, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, trash bags and laundry detergent not realizing we would be provided with ample for a week's stay (usually we've found a day or two's worth of supplies at most at rental properties). The location was ideal. We could walk to town within 10 minutes, and while there are houses next door, the property feels isolated and private. We were very pleased with their level of service, calling us to let us know our property was ready 2 hours early. We would definitely come back here on a return trip to Breckenridge!

Family of 11 (sibilings, their families, grandparents) on vacation for a week to the Rockies. We thoroughly enjoyed this property. The views from the back porch were amazing. Town of Breck was a short 5 minute walk, so restaurants and shopping were very close. A short 10-15 minute ride to some awesome hiking trails. Can't beat this spot for a summer vacation rental in Breck.

We had a great experience at the Mountain Bear Lodge between Christmas and the New Year. The layout of the house was perfect for our family of 10. We enjoyed cooking in and also being able to walk a short distance to many restaurants in town. The view from the family room and the large deck of the entire resort was amazing. The staff were professional and very helpful, they even arranged food and a Christmas Tree delivered to us prior to our arrival on Christmas Day.

Our family of 7 adults thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mountain Bear Lodge this summer. The location was so close to town that we walked over several times a day for coffee, dinner or just to shop. Everything in the home was clean and well-maintained. The beds and rooms were very comfortable and the view from the back deck was beautiful. Originally I was concerned we may be overlooking the tops of buildings, but it wasn't an issue. Coffee on the deck was so relaxing, and the local foxes played in the backyard and entertained us. This was our first stay with them and the staff and service were exceptional!

I came to Breck for a ski trip week with a group of 9 people and this house was absolutely perfect. Here are the highlights: -Very spacious common area -Kitchen has everything needed for group meals -All 5 bedrooms all are large and each hash their own bathroom -Amazing views from the back deck and giant hot tub (6 people) -Shuttle stop is only one block away (Blue Shuttle Line) -Property was clean and in perfect condition on arrival -Management company were great to deal with The house was absolutely perfect!!
