This newly remodeled home is ideally located on the prestigious Ski Trail Lane just minutes from the resort base area. There is a heated walkway to an advanced ski run in winter and to the mountain hiking trails in summer.
The home comfortably accommodates 14 people in 6 bedrooms across three levels. The ground level garage and mud room offer ample seating to get ready for the slopes, ski and snowboard racks, and even a large Alpine boot and glove drying system. You’ll walk in from the garage to a large family room set up for fun with a fireplace, big screen TV, pool table, and arcade game. The kids will make this floor home with a bunk room that sleeps eight. The bunk room has an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower. There is also a bedroom with a queen bed, and a second separate bathroom with walk-in shower.
Head up the stairs and you will come to a large laundry room before reaching the main level. The main level opens up to a spacious living, kitchen and dining area, all flooded with light from the surrounding windows. The inviting living area with fireplace leads to a stunning and fully equipped gourmet kitchen – Wolf oven, Sub-zero refrigerator, two dishwashers, and an oversized island for prep and serving. There is even seating for 8 people on barstools.
On the other side of the kitchen is the dining room with a table that seats 10. French doors lead to the wrap-around deck from either side of the dining room. Off the kitchen is a closed-door office with extra insulated walls for privacy, two desks and a lounge chair for casual reading.
This main floor just keeps going with three king bedrooms, all ensuite and each opening out to the deck.
The upper level of the home is dedicated to the primary suite with an architecturally unique log bed. The rustic nature of the logs blend beautifully with the other more contemporary, sleek furnishings and big stone fireplace. This private escape is topped off with a spacious ensuite bathroom with a separate tub, walk-in dual-head shower and two separate vanities for the ultimate spa-like experience.
Apex Lodge North has a garage with parking for 2 cars total, and a Tesla home charging station. An attached home, Apex Lodge South, shares the same driveway and shared garage wall. While the homes feel private and separate, you can rent both Apex Lodge North and Apex Lodge South to accommodate up to 30 people between the two homes.
Four-wheel drive is required in winter months. However, this home does feature a heated driveway.
SKI ACCESS
Apex Lodge North enjoys private and heated walk-to-ski access for advanced skiers and is dependent on snow conditions. Lower Valley View is a 5–7-minute walk. From the top of the trail, skiing/riding down the slopes is an intermediate level run down to the base. The return to Apex Lodge North is via Lower Valley View, a BLACK Diamond run, only recommended for advanced skiers. This private ski access is out of the ski area boundary and guests ski in/out at their own risk.
Please note that Lower Valley View is a south-facing, lower-mountain ski trail. Opening and closing dates are seasonal and snow dependent.
SHUTTLE
This home enjoys complimentary use of the Moving Mountains shuttle, mid-November through mid-April, using the convenient shuttle app to schedule pickups.

Outstanding!!! 
Apex North was beautifully finished, clean, spacious, and incredibly well-appointed. The house had everything we needed and more. It easily accommodated 3 full families (13 people) and the kids had their own space downstairs. The ski-in, ski-out option worked well for us, and the shuttle was very easy to use to get around. Outstanding!!!
It was totally awesome.
Stayed at Apex Lodge North and it was totally awesome. In every respect. We had a party of 14 and everyone had tons of room. Great couch for family or multi-family gatherings, has super TVs, and an excellent kitchen and I’m running out of adjectives. There is a cool stairway out back up to Lower Valley View, it is like a two-minute walk from the back door not on the street. Very easy. And the way the house is set into the terrain you don’t have skiers going back gawking into your living room like other ski-in/ski-out places. Let’s see what else. Oh, the heated driveway (!) is a marvel of modern engineering and is enough by itself to make me want to come back. And the grill on the back porch has an unbelievable section that shoots out the flame that would make Burger King weep.
It worked beautifully for our group
We spent a week at Apex Lodge North in March and it worked beautifully for our group of 6 adults and 8 kids! The ski in/out access was fantastic for the bulk of our group, and the MM shuttle service was easy and responsive for those getting picked up at the base. The house had ample seating for us all to eat together on the main floor, but the second living room also provided separate hang-out areas for kids and adults. We jacuzzi'd, we cooked, we played games and we adults slept great on the king-sized beds. There was plenty of room to hang skis in the garage and the boot dryer was awesome!
We would definitely stay here again. 
This house was recently updated and worked great for our group. Beds were all very comfortable. The shuttle service was amazing and arrived promptly every day. All the Moving Mountain staff we dealt with were friendly & helpful. We would definitely stay here again.
I hope we get the chance to go back some time!
We stayed with Moving Mountains for a ski trip in January and it was amazing. The house was in perfect condition and very well laid out for our 3 families, including a huge bunk room for many of the kids. Everyone had plenty of room and there were more than enough bathrooms. There was a lot of thought put into hosting skiers, as the garage and mud room off of the garage has lots of coat hooks, a boot dryer, ski/snowboard hooks, cubbies, and seating to gear up. The house is newly remodeled and has gorgeous finishes and TONS of space for eating and relaxing, including the largest kitchen island I've ever seen. Two dishwashers were a nice bonus. There is also an office if you are in the unfortunate position of having to get some work done while in Steamboat. Outside, there is a large gas grill and spacious deck with a hot tub with plenty of privacy, right on the side of Steamboat's ski hill. The driveway and ski in/out walkway are heated and make it super easy to hit the slopes. Moving Mountains has a shuttle bus that is prompt and can take you all over town - restaurants, base area, shopping, etc. It was a fantastic trip, in a beautiful home and town, and I hope we get the chance to go back sometime!
Love the place!
What an ideal house for multiple families to come together! The GIANT island was amazing as it naturally brought everyone together during meals. People weren’t on their phones, they were talking, eating, and enjoying the company. Having King beds in almost every room made it easy to divide up. The layout is also ideal and the interior is beautiful. Love how there is no stuff everywhere. I never knew I needed a boot and glove dryer, but slipping on warm (and dry!) boots and gloves every day is a luxury I now love. The place just has everything you need/want from an open layout, two living rooms, some of the best views, a gourmet kitchen, a covered outdoor kitchen with an incredible grill, multiple fridges, and en-suites for each room. Love the place!

My Wife and I stayed at Apex Lodge North for a week in September 2023. The weather was beautiful and we had a wonderful time exploring Steamboat Springs. The highlight of every day was coming home to this magnificent mountain home and just relaxing. Every surface, cabinet, fixture, appliance and piece of furniture is brand new and of the highest quality. The artwork throughout the home is so beautiful and unique. We had zero complaints as everything worked perfectly and the management company was engaged and responsive. Could not have been better. We'll be back for sure!
They were INCREDIBLE
I wish I could give Moving Mountains more than 5 stars. They were INCREDIBLE. They went above and beyond to take care of our group, they shuttled us around, brought us a toothbrush when someone forgot, and even laminated some paper we just asked for them to print. Should we go back to steamboat we will absolutely use them.
