Mickael Chavy

General Manager

Originally from Deauville, Normandy, France, Mickael Chavy has built his career around providing exceptional hospitality. After earning hospitality degrees from Florida International University and the University of Central Florida's Rosen College of Hospitality Management, he worked with renowned brands including Waldorf Astoria, Disney, and Collective Retreats before bringing his expertise to Moving Mountains as General Manager in our Vail Valley office.

When he's not building and supporting the team and improving operations, you'll likely find Mickael tackling a home improvement project, camping, riding horses, exploring Colorado's backroads, hiking, or searching for his next great meal. He and his wife, Yvette, have called the Vail Valley home for the past five years, where they share life with their two dogs, Luna and Turkey. Together, they also own Peak Pet Nutrition, a local business creating fresh, whole-food meals and treats for dogs.
