Flying to the Vail Valley, CO

Many Vail Valley travelers arrive via I-70 from Denver, but those in the know can avoid unexpected road closures and congestion by flying direct. With the Eagle Valley Regional Airport being less than 40 miles to the resorts, you can literally step off the plane and into your ski or hiking boots shortly after landing.
In addition to the regular non-stop flights from around the country during ski season, three new routes are being introduced for 25/26.
- American Airlines will operate a direct flight daily from Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT) for the peak holiday season, December 18, 2025 - January 5, 2026.
- United Airlines is adding a new nonstop service from Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) once weekly on Saturdays from December 20, 2025 - April 4, 2026. With this new service, United will now offer direct flights to EGE from seven of its key hubs: Chicago O'Hare (ORD), Denver International (DEN), Houston George Bush Intercontinental (IAH), Los Angeles International (LAX), Newark Liberty International (EWR), San Francisco International (SFO), and Washington Dulles (IAD).
- Delta Airlines will add a new seasonal nonstop service from Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport (MSP). Flights will operate daily from December 22, 2025 - January 5, 2026, and then every Saturday from January 10, 2026 - March 28, 2026.
