Steamboat Staff Picks: Summer's Best Trails, Water and Brews

The snow is melting, the days are getting longer, and Memorial Day Weekend marks the unofficial start of summer! So, our staff are pumping up their bike tires, dusting off hiking boots, tying flies, and inflating paddleboards in anticipation of hitting the trails, rivers and lakes. For many of us at Moving Mountains, summer is our favorite season in Steamboat.

We tapped into the local knowledge of our team members to compile a guide to our favorite (and in some cases secret) trails to hike and bike, heart-pumping rivers to raft, picturesque lakes to paddleboard, and pristine rivers to cast a fly. And at the end of a fun and sun-filled day in the mountains, where do we all head to celebrate our adventures and put back a cold local craft beer.
