The chefs in your group will enjoy the fully equipped kitchen, a modern and, stylish space with professional appliances, gas stove, and sleek granite countertops. A large center island has additional seating space for 5 onlookers. Grill year-round on the gas BBQ on the large deck or enjoy al fresco dining in warmer months. An elegant dining area has seating for eight with views of the valley.
The upstairs is dedicated to a spacious primary suite that includes a large bedroom with a king bed and a private terrace where you can relax outside in the summer. There is also a luxurious ensuite with dual vanity, large soaking tub, and shower.
On the lower level is a second king suite with an ensuite bath and a bunkroom with a set of twin bunks with a twin trundle bed and queen bed to sleep up to five guests. All bedrooms have their own TVs.
The downstairs also houses a family media room with a large TV and games. The media room has access to the lower patio and a 7-person private outdoor hot tub to soothe those sore muscles while relaxing under the stars.
The home offers everything you would expect from a modern house, including air conditioning, boot warmers, WiFi, plush towels, and comfortable bathrobes.
For easy access to the ski slopes, a short walk to the Wildhorse gondola offers a free ride to the base area.
ABOUT THE COMMUNITY
For added convenience, guests at Wildhorse Chalet have easy access to the Trailhead Lodge amenities, including the pool, hot tubs, fitness, and game rooms. Getting to the Tennis Center at Steamboat could not be more convenient for your next pickleball or tennis match. For easy access to the ski slopes, you can utilize the private Wildhorse gondola, just a 5-minute walk from the home and takes you straight up to the main gondola. Or simply schedule a pickup with the Moving Mountains complimentary ski shuttle to be whisked right up to the base area or downtown for shopping and dining.
SHUTTLE
This home enjoys complimentary use of the Moving Mountains shuttle, mid-November through mid-April, using the convenient shuttle app to schedule pickups.

All Moving Mountains properties have WIFI and come fully stocked with paper products (paper towels, toilet paper, tissues), bathroom toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap), and detergents (dish, dishwasher, and laundry) as well as clean bed linens and towels. In addition, the kitchens are stocked with aluminum foil, plastic wrap, trash bags, sponges, soap, salt and pepper, coffee, tea, Nespresso, cookware, bakeware, dishes, glasses, utensils, and standard small appliances.

Property was exactly what we were hoping for. Furnishings bedding and amenities All lived up to our expectations! The only negative comment I could make has more to do with design flaw and function. Garage/driveway are not large enough to hold a full size SUV while still being functional.
We have stayed with Moving Mountains twice now and cannot express how great the experience is. The shuttle service alone makes it worth it. But all of their properties are beautiful and well stocked with anything you need. The staff at MM is ALWAYS pleasant and ready to help you. We went back to Steamboat just so we could stay in a MM property. Our friend's were so impressed with the property and service, they said it's the best we have had in the 15 years we have been doing this trip! My only regret is that I can't get Moving Mountains to expand into every mountain ski town. We are going to Big Sky next year and will miss Moving Mountains.
The Wildhorse Chalet is a fantastic option for any family or group visiting Steamboat to ski. It's a quick drive to town for any nightlife, but the real value is its proximity to the mountain. What wasn't super apparent to us on the listing is that the house is walking distance to a gondola that takes you right to the base of the mountain. No need to walk far, drive, or even arrange a shuttle. And that gondola runs from 7am to midnight so it's very easy to pop up and down for dinner on the mountain or anything else.

A large master bedroom suite exists on the top, a great room that includes kitchen and dining areas is the main floor, and 2 bedrooms with separate baths plus a second great room are on the lower level. There is also an outdoor patio on the lower floor and and outdoor deck on the main floor. Every amenity is provided, from luxurious linens to a complete, convenient cooking kitchen (which included the most ginormous refrigerator I have ever seen!) From dinner for 2 to dinner for 20, this has everything you need. Luxurious touches include furry rugs in the bedrooms...ummmmm....woven throws in the great room......hair dryers in the baths and fluffy towels. For skiiers, the Wildhorse Chalet has a gondola at the end of the building that connects to ski runs.

Beautiful accommodations with a well stocked and outfitted kitchen made us want to prepare most all meals versus dining out. Very comfortable with all the amenities including a nice deck with gas grill and personal hot tub located on the lower patio. Lastly, no waiting for a shuttle to the slopes (although their personal shuttle service was very responsive regarding trips to town) as your own gondola is a two minute walk from the back door which drops you off at the Steamboat Gondola Square for shopping and/or skiing.
