The gourmet kitchen is a cook’s dream with high-end appliances, a Thermador range, an oven with a warming drawer, and gorgeous custom cabinetry. A large center island seats 6 and provides plenty of counter space for meal preparation, happy hour, and conversation. An elegant dining area seats 8-10 at a beautiful custom table and benches. Access the main level deck with an outdoor grill and seating in summer.
This private lot backs up to the protected private Cucumber Gulch, with decks overlooking cross-country ski and snowshoe trails and plenty of hiking. A lower patio has an inviting gas fire pit with seating, right next to a private outdoor hot tub – everything you need to enjoy the Colorado nighttime air.
On the main level is the spacious primary king suite, with large windows, a TV, and a gorgeous ensuite bath with a soaking tub, walk-in shower, and dual sinks.
Family game and movie night start downstairs in the lower-level family room with a comfy sectional sofa, flatscreen TV, gaming, foosball table, and game table. Four other rooms are on this level including two king suites and two bunk rooms the kids will love. A queen sofa bed in the family room makes an extra sleeping option, along with a full sofa bed in each of the bunkrooms.
Other amenities include a main-level mudroom and laundry room, warm, cozy, radiant in-floor heating throughout, a whole-house music system, and high-speed internet. Guest have use of a large 2-bay garage with available parking for four cars total in garage and driveway. Get around easily with a 5-minute walk to the free shuttle, a 7-minute walk to Peak 8 base, or a 5-minute drive to town.
Regretfully, weddings and events are not permitted in Moving Mountains homes.

SHUTTLE
This home enjoys complimentary use of the Moving Mountains shuttle, mid-November through mid-April, using the convenient shuttle app to schedule pickups. The use of the shuttle is on a first-come, first-served basis.

You will be assigned a dedicated specialist who will guide you through all the activities and services available. All Moving Mountains properties have WIFI and come fully stocked with paper products (paper towels, toilet paper, tissues), bathroom toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap), and detergents (dish, dishwasher, and laundry) as well as clean bed linens and towels. In addition, the kitchens are stocked with aluminum foil, plastic wrap, trash bags, sponges, soap, salt and pepper, coffee, tea, cookware, bakeware, dishes, glasses, utensils, and standard small appliances.
This home does not have air conditioning. Colorado's cool summer nights will keep this home comfortable by opening windows after the sun goes down, and then closing the windows and blinds during the day. Utilizing the overhead fans, if available, keeps airflow moving, and additional floor fans can be found in many bedroom closets. Can't live without it? A/C units may be available for rent for an additional fee.

Extended family vacation. 
We rented the Rocky Mountain Lodge for an extended family vacation and could not have been happier! The house was beautiful, immaculate, and equipped with everything you might need during your stay--the owners of the home thought of every detail. The location was perfect, close to town, and in a gorgeous wooded neighborhood with trails right out the back door. The agents at Moving Mountains were wonderful to work with! They made the initial rental process easy and were very responsive to our questions. When we arrived, an agent met us at the house to review any questions we might have about the amenities, etc. We will definitely be returning and renting from Moving Mountains!
Perfect!
The house is beautiful, it is just perfect to spend a vacation with friends and family. The kitchen has a lot of space for storage and the living room is very comfortable and spacious. The house has marvelous views from hot tub and fire pit!! Also we saw a fox in the garden, it was beautiful. We spend a great time in this house.

The home was beautiful. The setting was pristine. We enjoyed it immensely and will consider renting this home again. It is essentially brand new so it was in great shape.

Beautiful home in perfect location
This house is incredibly beautiful! We had 3 small families staying in this giant house and there was plenty of room and everyone felt extrememly comfortable. There are basically 3 master suites which is hard to find. Kitchen was beautiful and well stocked as were all the bathrooms. The hot tub was nice to have, but we didn't get to use it much because we had such warm weather. And the location is great, about a mile walk downhill to get to town. The walk back was a little harder but good exercise. Would definitely stay here again!
Christas at Breckenridge
We have stayed in several homes in Breckenridge over the years. Rocky Mountain Lodge was absolutely the best. It was wonderful in every possible way. Though not the ski in-out we had been accustomed to, was close enough for that not to matter at all.

We love this house, so close to the slopes but still feels like a Mountain hideaway.

We have rented in Breck for the past 14 years before and at Christmas. We rent large 5 bedroom homes with another family. This house by far was the Best by far. No other house was as equipped in all ways from the kitchen to the linens on the bed. Wonderful location. A very special Christmas was celebrated here . The staff was wonderful to work with,

Wedding weekend perfection
We loved our long weekend stay- the house was complete perfection. It offered a great place to relax and enjoy family company while attending a wedding up there. I have no bad things to say- the house was fully equipped with every luxury. It was a great location to walk around cucumber gulch. Felt secluded. Plenty of natural light. Could go on and on!
Reck ski retreat
We had a group of 12 men for the weekend ski retreat. The home was perfectly laid out for discussions and dinners together.
Dream house in a perfect location!
This home is even more spectacular than the pictures. We couldn't have dreamed of a more perfect place for our group. The kitchen was huge and ideal for cooking big group meals, and there was a ton of room for everyone to read comfortably in a beautiful setting after a long day of skiing. Each room has its own bathroom which is ideal! And the hot tub was the perfect aprés ski oasis. The location was ideal, truly only a 7 minute walk to the best peak on the mountain, and just a short car ride, or free and incredibly easy gondola ride to downtown. We cannot say enough great things about this home and the staff for being fantastic to work with! Highly recommend and definitely plan on returning next year!!
Perfect getaway home
We booked this house for a girls weekend and it was absolutely perfect! I was incredibly impressed with the customer service renting the house and the amenities when we arrived! There were so many small touches that brought our stay to the next level. I would absolutely recommend this company.
Great stay in breckenridge
Had a great stay in Rocky Mountain Lodge, three families. Kids loved the deep snow around the entire property to play in. Home has all the amenities you would ever need, even a boot dryer. This company provided excellent service. We had trouble with the fire pit and they sent maintenance right away to resolve. It is very close to Peak 8 base but too far to walk in ski boots. The free breck shuttle wasn't easy to time just right.

Family get together at Rocky Mountain Lodge
We brought our three families together, (9 people) at Rocky Mountain Lodge. It was great. A beautiful home and a well stocked kitchen. We saw moose and a fox in the back yard. Comfortable beds and the hot tub and fire pit were a plus. Everyone enjoyed the week.
Rocky Mountain Lodge Review
We had a fantastic stay at Rocky Mountain Lodge. The proximity to Peak 8 was extremely convenient for ski school at Peak 8. We were also pleased to be out of the traffic of downtown Breck during the busy holiday week. We liked the layout with the master on the main floor and the 4 bedrooms on the bottom floor.
Great Summer 2020 Escape to Rocky Mountain Lodge
Great extended family getaway from Texas during summer of Covid! The house was awesome - great space for 6 of us to hang out, cook, eat, work, etc. Perfect location for walk out back door to trails and short walk down (and up) ski hill road to town. Even saw moose and deer out the back! The staff great and helpful. The house could use some refreshed cutlery in kitchen, and something to keep the mosquitos away outside. Otherwise, no complaints, we would love to get back! Thank you!
