In October 2024, Founder's Lodge, a luxury vacation rental in Beaver Creek, Colorado, joined Moving Mountains with the goal of quickly securing reservations and generating winter rental revenue before the peak booking period ended. The homeowners were particularly eager to secure a high-value booking over New Year's Eve which posed a significant challenge, given that the home was still undergoing renovations and lacked professional photography for marketing. We sought to convert these challenges into opportunities by quickly executing an appropriate onboarding and booking strategy which rapidly unlocked the enormous potential of one of Beaver Creek’s finest homes.
Nestled in one of the original and most prestigious neighborhoods in Beaver Creek, Founder's Lodge is a magnificent ski-in/ski-out retreat that combines mountain elegance with modern luxury. The expansive 10,147 sq. ft. home features eight bedrooms and accommodates up to 18 guests. Designed for the ultimate family ski or summer vacation, it offers numerous indoor and outdoor areas for entertaining and relaxing, including a private hot tub, a home theater, and a game room.
The main level impresses with vaulted ceilings, a striking wood-burning fireplace, and a gourmet kitchen equipped with professional-grade appliances. The primary suite, easily accessible via the home’s elevator, provides breathtaking views of the ski runs. Guests will enjoy ski-in/ski-out access via President Ford’s Ski Run, allowing for a seamless mountain experience. Additional amenities include a home gym, Savant entertainment system, a heated driveway, and a resort shuttle for easy village access.
The home required a refresh to align with Moving Mountains' high-end brand and clientele expectations.
Ongoing renovation projects delayed the ability to obtain interior photography, which is essential for marketing and securing bookings.
The peak booking window for the winter season runs from August through November, meaning the home needed to go live as quickly as possible to capitalize on high demand.
The Moving Mountains team collaborated closely with the homeowners to develop a fast-tracked strategy for onboarding Founder's Lodge. Key steps included:

Prioritizing the completion of essential projects to ensure readiness for professional photography and guest stays.
Launching the property on the Moving Mountains website with exterior images and an open calendar on November 7, 2024, allowing the Reservations Team to start marketing and selling the home immediately.
Within 24-hours of going live, our Reservations Team secured a nine-night booking from December 27th to January 9th. Despite having only exterior photos available, we largely exceeded the homeowner’s hope of a last-minute holiday reservation.
This initial high value booking created significant momentum of prospective guest inquiries, leading to rapid conversion of additional reservations.
In just 69 days from going live with exterior photos only (November 8, 2024 – January 16, 2025), Founder's Lodge generated over $200,000 in booked winter reservations.
