When shall I come & do you have availability?
Once you have a date in mind, see the availability charts for the chalets that you are interested in.

Our availability charts will give you a clear idea of what is available and are accurate within 24 hours. Please call our office (1-877 624 2538 Toll Free) with any questions.

How much will it cost?
When you look at everything that we include in a stay at Moving Mountains, our vacation packages are great value.  Where else could you stay in first-class accommodations, enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner prepared by your personal chef (and snacks, fresh baked cookies and hors d'oeuvres!), be picked up from the airport and chauffeured around in a 4WD Suburban from $120 / day?!

In truth, no-one is offering the same inclusive vacation package that we offer our guests.  As a result many expenses with other lodgings are add-ons, and you may not know your total vacation cost until the credit card bill arrives after your trip.

We are able to offer you many savings through discounted airfares and equipment rental which are available when combined with a lodging package.

Another factor to consider is that prices vary across the season according to demand - typically Christmas and New Year are the peak times; other times in the season may better suit people traveling on a budget.  The Packages and Prices pages on each resort page give full details.

How many can come?
Our chalets can either accommodate groups from 8 - 22 guests booking the Whole Chalet. For "Select Room" weeks we book rooms individually for single or double occupancy.  Our terms and conditions explains this fully as well as other important details.

Can I pre-arrange my lift tickets and ski rentals?
Our aim is to make your vacation hassle free.  We will be delighted to organize your lift tickets for you so that they are ready when you arrive.  If you need equipment, we have great rates organized with select local rental shops for advance reservations and will take you there when you arrive and make sure you are well set up for the week ahead.

Can I buy Travel Insurance?
We offer comprehensive travel insurance so that you can protect your holiday investment. Two policies are offered with Travel Guard International. For more information click here.

How do we book?
Call our office (1-877 624 2538 Toll Free) and let us know when you want to come. We'll email or fax you a booking form to sign and fax back to us with the appropriate deposit as soon as possible.

So who or what is Moving Mountains?
Moving Mountains is a unique lodging concept that has been developed to offer you the ultimate relaxed mountain vacation.  We have planned our full-service lodging to take the hassle out of your vacation. Many of our guests have experienced rental homes and hotels and prefer our package because we take care of shopping, housekeeping, preparing meals and washing-up while they are able to spend their vacation having fun with their friends and family.

Are the Chalets ideal for a family or a group of couples?
Both!  Enjoy your vacation with your family while not having to be crammed into one small hotel room.  No one will have to stop skiing to rush back to the condominium to make dinner - Our Chalets in Steamboat are already stocked and fully equipped, and we make dinner!

Groups of friends will enjoy our top quality amenities for their exclusive use; including individual rooms with private bathrooms.  This will be the end of your worries as a group organizer - we'll take care of the rest, including the role of designated driver.  We'll cater to all your group's needs and organize everyone's outings and activities whether they be individually or as a group.  Enjoy having a Chalet that can easily and comfortably accommodate you and your friends.
