Steamboat provides many activities for the young (and the young at heart!). The following lift ticket schemes were pioneered in Steamboat:
 

Kids Ski Free Program Kids 12 and under ski free when their parents purchase a 5-day-or-more lift ticket.  Free ski rentals are available on the same basis.  (One free child ticket per paid adult.)

Teens Ski Program The Teen Ticket Program enables teens (13-18 years) to ski for $46-52 per day when an adult purchases a 5-day-or-more lift ticket.  Also available are discounted ski rentals with this program.  (One teen ticket per paid adult ticket.)

"Mavericks"
Skiers 3 1/2 - 4yrs.

These "Mavericks" are ready and willing to learn to ski!  Half-or full-day group clinics offer smaller class sizes for our little people. A little exposure to skiing and a lot of fun. Mavericks must be potty trained. Ski Equipment not included. No lift ticket required.
1/2 day: $58, All day w/lunch: $80,
3-All day clinics w/lunch $234, 5 All Day w/lunch $375

"Jackalopes" Ski Weeks
Skiers 5 1/2 - 6 yrs.
5-All day clinics (Monday - Friday) with lessons Monday through Friday, treasure hunt, race day and a colorful Steamboat t-shirt. This package also includes a one-run lift ticket good at the end of each days lesson - ideal to show Mom & Dad how you progressed! This program is for eager 5 1/2 - 6 year olds who have the desire and stamina to ski 5 full days with new friends.
Ski Equipment not included. No lift ticket required.

"Rough Riders" Group Clinics
Skiers First Grade - 15 yrs.
These skiers are broken into groups by age and ability to maximize learning!  Half-and Full-day clinics are available.
Complimentary lift ticket for All-Day Level 1 Clinics.

"Steamboat Teens" Group Clinics
Skiers 13 - 18 yrs.
This is a program for advanced skiers that enjoy skiing with peers in an informal format. The pros that ski with this group really do love working with this age group.  A great program to learn new techniques.
