Moving Mountains

Time to Blog?

What is a blog? How does it work? Who reads Blogs?

Blog stands for Web-Log. A blog is a personal diary. A daily pulpit. A collaborative space. A political soapbox. A breaking-news outlet. A collection of links. Your own private thoughts. Memos to the world.

For the last couple of years we have been hearing this buzzword ever more often, but it was only recently that this new web phenomenon began to mean something to us. While trying to plan a vacation to Kauai we found Tripadvisor.com. Here we found a website packed with reviews left by other travelers that helped us find out where to stay, what to do and where to eat.

Websites like this and other specialist Travel Blog websites represent the new frontier in deciphering information on the web to help with vacation planning.

Why are we telling you this? Well, we are inviting you as past guests to become travel bloggers and create your own web log entry about your experience with Moving Mountains. Word of mouth has always been our greatest marketing tool and we appreciate the many referrals we have received over the years.
